The position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our FinTech platform team. This is a technically demanding, high-visibility project that plays a key role in our product roadmap.

You will work across front-end and back-end layers, with a particular emphasis on back-end services, data design, and system integration. You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and dev leads in a fast-moving environment where precision, quality, and ownership are valued.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust web applications
• Contribute to the evolution of a modular, scalable system design
• Lead by example in code quality, review practices, and test coverage
• Integrate with third-party APIs and manage data flows
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Produce clear and structured technical documentation
• Collaborate in planning and delivery sessions across the team

Experience in unit testing, API development, and distributed systems is essential.

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Testing and Quality Assurance Lead to join our high-performing development team at HomHero. You will take ownership of quality strategy, test planning and execution across a suite of cloud-based applications.

This is a visible and embedded role working closely with developers, leads and support. You will lead both the practical testing effort and the improvement of QA practices across the team.

What you will do

• Lead test strategy and execution across web and cloud-based applications
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts
• Coordinate defect resolution and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders
• Define and report on quality metrics
• Help drive adoption of tools and frameworks that support testing and release quality
• Participate in release planning and post-release validation
• Support process improvement and documentation of standards
• Contribute to the planning of test environments and data
• Encourage risk-based testing and exploratory approaches where suitable

Tools and Technologies

• Shortcut, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub
• Experience working with systems hosted on AWS
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
• Comfortable working with test case documentation and defect tracking tools
• Exposure to automated testing concepts or frameworks is a plus

Who You Are

• Minimum 5 years in software QA, with 2 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong understanding of QA principles, test case design and defect lifecycle
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to work in Agile, Kanban or hybrid teams
• Comfortable taking initiative to raise quality across the team
• Experience in property or accommodation systems is an advantage
• Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field preferred
