The position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our high-performing development team here at Homhero.  As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should be a team player with a knack for writing clean, functional code, testing and fixing bugs or issues, and providing guidance and mentorship to team members. Experience with successful implementation of the agile development methodology is also a huge plus.

Who we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer
• Experience developing web applications
• Fluent in Node (JavaScript and TypeScript)
• Knowledge of PHP, Go and Sencha preferred
• Familiar with Amazon Web Services: Dev Ops, Security, Cognito, Beanstalk, API GW, Lambda, RDS, StepFunctions, EC2, VPC, Sage-maker, ECS, CDK, CLI, SDK
• Experienced AWS Serverless developer with above services, using Javascript, Typescript
• Previous experience in Web UI Development (React Frameworks) and Micro-service Development
• Experience working within a variety of development methodologies (Kanban, Agile)
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS
• Familiar with CI/CD Gitlab, Bitbucket, AWS CodeCommit CodePipeline CodeDeploy
• Familiar with Atlassian, Confluence and Bitbucket systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Pro-active

What you will do

• Develop software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Develop and manage databases and applications
• Integrate with third-party APIs
• Experience in writing test suites
• Troubleshoot, debug and update software
• Build features and applications
• Write technical documentation

Experience & Accreditations

• Min 8 years experience in a comparable role
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Accommodation systems experience preferred
